Welcome to the Dalewool Auckland & District Pipe Band web site.

The band – affectionately referred to as the “A&D” has a proud history and tradition of musical excellence at a top grade 1 level over many years.

 We enjoy significant sponsorship and community support and are continually involved in competing on a regional and national basis, as well as performing concerts and community parades.

 The band was placed 2nd when it last played in the New Zealand Championships and the current leadership and members are committed to regaining our number one status at the next NZ National Championships and into the future.

 A strong commitment to tuition programs is seen as essential to our continued success. Many of the members are involved in these programs, which are directed towards the completion of National Certificates. One of these programs is the Auckland Pipe Band College which we have provided a link to from this website.

 The band is based in the beautiful city of Auckland on the magnificent Waitemata Harbour and draws its membership from all over the city and outer suburbs, as well as other New Zealand provinces.
